The Believer's Edge ministry provides the opportunity to dig into relevant Biblical discussion and ground us in the Christian faith, while providing good solid friendships in the process! Every believer needs this relational connection where they can relax and be real with other Christians. We all need friends to help us grow. Come join us! We even serve a free continental breakfast!

Biblical curriculum is chosen by each table leader according to the needs of their group. All curriculums are approved by the pastoral staff who assists in its selection.


Table leaders are more like coaches who lead in the facilitation of discussion, prayer and caring. All leaders are trained to promote interaction rather than lecture, all the while being sensitive to the personal needs of their group members.


As a ministry, we strive to keep interaction relational and personal. Therefore we encourage each member to follow the biblical principle of inviting guests. When a group grows to 8-12 members, a new leader is appointed and a new table will be formed.


In an effort to meet various needs, each group represents either a common interest such as gender, age range or walk of life. Some like to call these commonality groups. Other groups are open to all. We also encourage tables to fellowship, interact and enjoy their friendships outside of Sunday meetings.


Groups are arranged in the Evangel Church mall by table numbers. Each group is listed on a billboard that stands in the mall. We will be happy to assist you if you are looking for a particular group or just trying to find a good fit!

Group Bible Studies - Weekdays, Weeknights

Our weekly Bible study groups provide us the chance to connect during the week as we seek to grow in our faith and friendships. These groups strive to keep a small group environment and encourage both solid Christian discipleship through interaction, outreach and multiplication.

Our current group opportunities:

Training and Recognition

All group leaders are trained by the church staff and attend regularly scheduled team meetings. Each leader receives support and regular communication with the staff and volunteer coaches in order to stay strong, encouraged and empowered to perform their service of discipleship.

Each month, one leader is recognized and highlighted in the Leader's Monthly. Here, the church is able to get to know one member per month who volunteers their service of group leadership.
