RESEARCH TEAM
Identify and locate relevant articles in newspapers, periodicals and on the internet to assist the Pastors. Time commitment is up to each individual's schedule. Most research can be done from home.

Adult Ministry
MEN'S MINISTRY TEAM MEMBER
Works with the leadership of the men's ministry to help plan and carry-out activities and events for and by the men of Evangel.
SENIOR ADULTS' CARE PARTNER
Assists fellow seniors in time of need, such as: sickness, surgery, loss of loved ones. Makes phone calls and encourages others in the group facing difficult times.
SENIOR ADULTS' COMMUNICATION TEAM
Contacts seniors about upcoming events and Bible studies.
WOMEN'S MINISTRY TEAM MEMBER
Works with the leadership of the women's ministry to help plan and carry-out activities and events for and by the women of Evangel.
YOUNG ADULTS COMMUNICATION TEAM
Contacts and connects with young adults about upcoming events and activities. Also works to design and prepare mailings as well as e-mail info.
YOUNG ADULTS GREETERS
Seeks out and greets new and returning young adults on Sunday morning. Escort them to the guest basket center and connect them to other young adults.

Arts & Technology
Our Arts & Technology Team helps to enhance our worship services through sound, video, music and drama.
DRAMA
Help illustrate Pastor's Sunday sermons as well as present full-scale productions for various seasonal and special events. There are several jobs to choose from:

Costume Coordinators & Seamstresses
MUSIC
Magnify God through the use of your instrumental or singing talent through worship teams and special music for Sunday, Wednesday and special services. Auditions are required.
SERMON RECORDING DUPLICATION
Produce Pastor's Sunday sermons on CD and cassette. You will be part of a rotating team.
SOUND TECHNICIANS
A behind-the-scenes operation that is vital to all Sunday, Wednesday and special services at Evangel. The sound teams rotate every week and you would be scheduled 1-2 times per month.
VIDEO TECH MINISTRY
Join our video production and operation team. Everyone from camera operators to editors and computer operators are needed to serve in this growing ministry area.
Athletic Club & Sports Commission
Work hard and play hard. Join our Athletic Club and have fun in a competitive and intramural sports environment. In addition to playing on a team, there are many other ways to become involved.
LEAGUE COORDINATOR
Coordinates seasonal leagues for various sports. What's your game?
STATISTICIAN
Maintains stats for teams and players for individual leagues. Also maintains database of players with address and phone number for each team in the league.
SCOREKEEPER & SCOREBOARD OPERATOR
Keeps score and operates scoreboard during games.
TEAM LEADER
Coordinates and recruits players for teams. Also serves as coach and captain for your team.
EQUIPMENT MANAGER
Maintains the quality of the sports equipment. Makes recommendations when equipment requires replacement.
FIELD KEEPER
Primarily a spring and summer position, the Field Keeper takes are of the softball diamond infield. Keeps it free of any debris and weeds and reports any problems to the league coordinator.
Campus Care
The upkeep of Evangel's campus is a top priority for us. We want to be good stewards of what we have been given and keep God's house looking its very best.
BUILDING MAINTENANCE
General Mr. or Ms. Fix-Its who volunteer to help keep the building its best; this includes small repair jobs, painting and minor electrical work.
CLEANING AND JANITORIAL
Come alongside our staff to keep Evangel looking sharp for all
services and for the guests who come through our doors during the week.
GROUNDSKEEPERS
We strive to keep the exterior of Evangel looking beautiful and
inviting. After all, it is the first thing our guests will see. You can help by preparing our flower pots and beds for planting, weeding, and making recommendations for additions to our landscaping
efforts.
INTERIOR DESIGN
We want Evangel to feel like home to all who enter through our doors. Use your gifts of art and design to help us spruce up the interior of the building.
PARKING ATTENDANTS
Provide assistance to guide vehicles through the parking lot and maintain traffic flow for services and special events. We also hope to begin valet service for seniors and single moms.
SECURITY
Circulates throughout the building and grounds during Sunday
services and special events. Keeps a watchful eye over Evangel.
Children - Nursery & Toddlers
Our Noah's Corner Nursery exists to provide a warm, loving and nurturing environment for babies and toddlers so that their parents can take part in the fellowship and discipleship of services and special events.
SPECIAL EVENT & BIBLE STUDY SITTER
Provides child care during special events such as the Christmas Tea, as well as weekday Bible studies.
SERVICE COORDINATOR
Makes sure nursery and toddler room are open and that the scheduled staff is in place and ready to receive children. Arranges for substitute workers if necessary. Service coordinator also serves as a parent liaison.
ROOM COORDINATOR
Works alongside the Service Coordinator to contact team members, makes sure supplies are stocked, handle paperwork, check-in children and also assist as a parent liaison.
ASSISTANT ROOM COORDINATOR
Assists with check-in and check-out process. Works closely with children to involve them in activities. The Asst. Room Coordinator is also responsible for diaper changes.
CAREGIVERS
Helps the coordinators with room preparations. Works closely with children by playing with and consoling them. Maintains a neat appearance of the room and orderly conduct.
Children - KidZone
KidZone is the children's ministry program for ages 3 through 12. It is a place where children can learn about God's love and start to build a Biblical foundation for their lives in a fun, interactive and age-appropriate setting:
X-Plore is the Sunday and Wednesday program for 3s.
Lil' Kidmo is the Sunday program for 4-6 year olds.
Kidmo is the Sunday program for 7-12 year olds.
Blast is the Wednesday program for 4-6 year olds.
Blast Live is the Wednesday program for 7-12 year olds.

In addition to the groups above, KidZone oversees the Special Needs Ministry which is a program dedicated to serving children with developmental needs. Caring, patient, responsible individuals are needed to serve this rewarding ministry as:

Discipleship and prayer are critical to life of every believer. Evangel is committed to seeing people grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Believer's Edge is our Sunday morning discipleship hour. This time is a focused, round table program designed to facilitate discussion of and growth of knowledge in God's Word through relationship and interaction.
In addition to Believer's Edge, there are numerous other home and church-based small groups to help you in your walk with God.
BELIEVER'S EDGE & SMALL GROUP LEADERS
Facilitate a Believer's Edge round table or a different small group at another time in the week.
BELIEVER'S EDGE & SMALL GROUP COACHES
Work with Believer's Edge and small group leaders with training and provide them with encouragement along the way.
BELIEVER'S EDGE GREETER
Welcomes people on Sunday morning to Believer's Edge. Assists newcomers to The Edge in finding a group that will help meet their spiritual and relational needs.
CURRICULUM TEAM
Organize and maintain a library of curriculum resources for leaders. Review books and other curriculum programs for future discipleship use.
NEW BELIEVER FOLLOW-UP TEAM
Use your passion for discipleship to follow-up with new believers in Christ. Connect them to a small group or Believer's Edge table and help them in their new Christian life.
PRAYER CHAIN
Become an intercessor for the needs of the Evangel family.

Hands of Hope
Hands of Hope Food Pantry serves those in need who come to us from
Hanover Park and surrounding communities. No one is ever turned away. Every person who comes through is offered counseling, prayer and the opportunity to make Jesus Christ the Lord of their life.
ADMINISTRATION
Use your administrative gifts to help with statistics, data entry, phone follow-up, newsletter writing, submitting grant proposals and applications, and placing orders for food through Northern Illinois Food Bank.
DISTRIBUTION
The distribution team is on the front lines working with our clients. The team assists with set-up, greeting, distribution, traffic flow and clean-up. Additionally, counselors are needed to minister to and pray with clients.
DONATIONS
Hands of Hope receives donations from many sources to provide the best possible quality of food for our clients. Drivers are often needed to go to different distribution centers and stores to collect these items. Additionally, people are needed to deliver groceries to those who are homebound or without transportation of their own. Some members of the donation team also make calls to solicit donations from grocery stores and other food supply locations.
ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
In God's timing and His will, Hands of Hope plans to expand and offer English as a second language (ESL) classes, as well as taking the clients through The Purpose Driven Life. Facilitators are needed to teach and lead classes.

Help provide a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for all members and guests of Evangel. Opportunities include greeting, passing out bulletins, taking the offering, praying, helping members and guests, assisting with any arising problems.

Missions
COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Work with our missions committee to help select new missionaries and projects for support. Helps to plan missions events and services. Correspond with our missionaries by letter and e-mail. Act as hosts and hostesses when we have missionary guests.
CONVENTION PLANNERS
Work with Pastor to help plan our Spring and Fall Missions conventions. Help coordinate missionary guests and special events for the week-long convention.
TRIP LEADERS
Put your travel and missions trip experience to good use. Help plan domestic and international missions trips. Work with destination pastors and ministries to determine what the focus of the missions trip should be. Recruit and train participants for the trip.
